SUNSET VALLEY–The Sunset Valley City Council moved forward with a project to build permanent police and public works facilities by unanimously approving a request for qualifications, or RFQ, for a construction manager at its April 19 meeting.
City Administrator Clay Collins said the construction manager search will have two steps. Construction manager applicants will submit their qualifications, then about three candidates will be selected by the city to submit more information and schedule interviews.
The city plans to take RFQ submissions until May 12 and award the contract at the council meeting June 21.
