Lakeway The Texas Municipal Courts Education Center and the Texas Department of Transportation recognized Lakeway’s Municipal Court on March 30 for its traffic safety initiatives.

The city was honored along with  17 other Texas municipal courts at the annual Traffic Safety Conference in Austin. Lakeway’s programs include public safety slideshows, bumper stickers with the court’s telephone number to report unsafe driving and teen driving contracts.

Lakeway Municipal Court Judge Kevin Madison was a speaker at the event.
