Lucy in Disguise with Diamonds, a year-round costume store at 1506 South Congress Ave., Austin, is closing its doors at the end of this year. Lucy in Disguise Owner Jenna Radtke has been serving the Austin community since 1984.
Due to the close, Lucy in Disguise will not be offering costumes for rent after Aug. 30. The owners and store managers are encouraging customers to come in early, as they are not restocking the store before they close at the end of the year.
“We've loved being a source of creativity and inspiration for your parties, plays and productions,” Lucy in Disguise owners said in an Instagram post. “It has been a pleasure fulfilling your costuming dreams and fantasies. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.”
