Easy Tiger’s South Lamar Boulevard location, which opened with only outdoor dining in October 2020 due to the pandemic, is now complete.
The company announced Dec. 8 that the third and final phase of the location, a market and bake shop, is finished and open to the public.
The final phase of the 3508 S. Lamar Blvd., Austin, location also included adding additional indoor seating.
"We built this Bake Shop and Beer Garden to help our neighbors slow down, stay awhile," Easy Tiger CEO Mike Stitt said in a release. "We hope folks will grab picnic provisions on their way to Zilker, host morning coffee meetups in the Den or swing by for an Old Fashioned after work at sunset on the deck. ... We’re excited to add another great destination for the South Austin community."
The restaurant serves its staple German fare and offers a full bar with indoor and heated outdoor seating. The bakers will make pastries and bread fresh at the location daily in the bakery, and customers can buy items such as Two Hives Honey, charcuterie from The Salumeria and cheese from Antonelli’s Cheese in the market, according to the press release.
