Austin area brewery-goers can get up to 30 pints of beer for $20 in May thanks to a charitable organization that married two things into its annual fundraiser that Capital Area residents enjoy most.
Divine Canines, a local nonprofit that trains therapy dogs and provides free therapy dog services, is teaming up with 30 area breweries for the fourth edition of Barks for Beers, a event that takes place May 1-May 31.
Participating breweries that will serve one free pint of beer to anyone with a Barks for Beer pint glass, available for $20 starting on April 17 at these local retailers: Copeland Jewelers, 3801 N. Capital of Texas Hwy., Austin; Mud Puppies, 2015 E. Riverside Drive, Austin; Mud Puppies, 12233 N. RR 620. Ste. 110A, Austin; Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, 1204 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin; Woof Gang Bakery Westlake, 701 S. Capital of Texas, Hwy., Austin.
