Many Travis County residents are stuck with tree limbs on the curb following Winter Storm Mara. Here is where they can drop tree limbs off, request delivery service or see if tree limbs have been reported in their area.

Where to drop off tree limbs for free:

Travis County and the city of Austin opened two locations for residents to drop off tree debris free of charge. The sites are only accepting tree limbs, branches, shrubs and leaves. Residents should prepare for long wait times, especially on weekends, according to a press release.

Residents who are unable to drop off debris:

Travis County is working on bringing on contractors to help with curbside pickup for unincorporated residents unable to bring their debris to the drop-off sites. The county does not have a set schedule yet but is asking residents to have debris cut up in 4- to 5-foot pieces and placed on the curb by Feb. 20.

Residents can click here to see if their road has already been reported for storm debris pickup.

If residents do not see their road on the list, they can email the Travis County Transportation and Natural Resources Department at [email protected] or call 512-854-9433 and leave a message.
