Several city of Austin administrative offices will be closed this Monday in observance of Memorial Day, and Capital Metro is operating under a slightly different service schedule.
- All city of Austin administrative offices and municipal facilities will be closed Monday.
- Trash, recycling and yard trimmings collection for Austin Resource Recovery customers will remain on schedule.
- The Austin Public Library, Recycled Reads and the Austin History Center will be closed on Monday.
- Recreation and senior centers will be closed for Memorial Day. Additionally, the Elizabeth Ney Museum, O. Henry Museum, George Washington Carver Museum, Dougherty Arts Center, Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center will be closed Monday.
- City of Austin aquatic facilities, golf courses and tennis centers will be open during regularly scheduled hours on Memorial Day.
- The Zilker Botanical Garden and the Austin Nature and Science Center will also be open during normal business hours.
Capital Metro will be operating on a Sunday-level service Monday in observance of the holiday. There will be no MetroRail, UT Shuttle or E-Bus service and the Capital Metro administrative offices will be closed.
