Guida, an Austin resident, also owns the Madabolic studio in South Austin, while Jennings owns locations outside of Texas.
Guida, who played professional basketball in Europe and Pro Tour volleyball in the United States, said he was drawn to the studio after his wife asked him to go to a class with her. He said he liked how simple and efficient the workouts were and how the workouts were run like practice for a sport. He said many current and former athletes are drawn to the classes for the same reason.
The fitness center offers group workout classes that are safe, simple and effective, Guida said. Guida said he also likes the accountability aspect of the classes—such as requiring people to be on time.
The new location will be at 2900 W. Anderson Ave., Ste. B19, Austin. It replaces the former AustiNuts, which closed in 2020. Guida said he plans to open two more locations in Austin.
