Austin's Weird Homes Tour says goodbye—for now
Tour founders David and Chelle Neff announced June 17 that business had taken a hit from COVID-19, causing the Weird Homes Tour to end. However, the Neffs said they hope a new local operator will eventually step in to resurrect the tour.

David Weekley expanding to sell homes in Round Rock neighborhood
National home building company David Weekley Homes, headquartered in Houston, announced in a June 17 news release it is now selling homes in The Oaks on Chisolm Trail in Round Rock.
City of Round Rock breaks ground on new library
The site was formerly occupied by the bar called Cozy Corner, and it was also the home where Joe D. Johnson said he grew up. Johnson said his parents owned the bar, which closed many years prior.

Citing “insurmountable obstacles,” local restaurant group Z’Tejas Southwest Grill announced June 16 it is closing its Arboretum restaurant this summer.
Pflugerville
Arbor Car Wash and Lube Centers in Pflugerville closes permanently
A representative from Arbor Car Wash told Community Impact Newspaper the Pflugerville site was sold in early April to another company and that it was an underperforming business within the Arbor Car Wash family of locations.
