South by Southwest Conferences & Festivals organizers will host a final volunteer call on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. on the third floor of the AT&T Conference Center at 1900 University Ave., Austin, according to a press release. The call gives potential volunteers a final opportunity to sign up and learn more about what help is needed.

SXSW is seeking volunteers for its 2018 conference and festivals. Volunteers work with over 35 crews, with responsibilities ranging from music festival production to registration to technical support.

Volunteers are required to contribute a minimum of 24 hours during the 10-day event to earn SXSW badges. Both day and evening positions are available.

SXSW was founded in Austin in 1987 and is best known for its annual conference, which brings together people from the interactive, film and music industries. Events include screenings, exhibitions, showcases, addresses and networking sessions.

This year's conference runs from March 9-18.
