The Austin City Limits Music Festival lineup was announced this morning, and come October 6-8 and 13-15, music revelers can catch these 5 Austin bands—some of them returning acts.
Spoon
Having recently played during this year's South by Southwest Conference & Festivals, the hometown band also played at ACL Fest in 2014. Their new album, "Hot Thoughts," was released in March.
Asleep at the Wheel
The American country and western swing music group, with roots in Austin since the 1970s, has won six Grammy awards.
Missio
Missio, who happens to be performing in Dallas today, has a new album—"Loner"—out May 19.
Black Angels
Black Angels, the Austin-based psychedelic rock band, will make an appearance May 20 at Stubb's Barbecue. The band was founded in 2004.
Band of Heathens
The rock and roll group was established in 2006 and released its new album, "Duende," last year. If you can't wait for Oct. 8, you can catch the band in New Braunfels at Gruene Hall tomorrow.
