52 parks to visit this weekend in Cedar Park, Leander

Cedar Park has closed the Brushy Creek Skate Park, effective April 8, according to the city. Milburn Pool and athletic fields for league or organized activity remain closed. All park playgrounds, pavilions, gazebos, gathering or picnic areas, volleyball and basketball courts and park restrooms are also closed.

In Leander, athletic fields at Robin Bledsoe Park and Benbrook Ranch Park remain closed.

Public parks in Cedar Park and Leander remain open to the public as of March 20 despite other city closures and canceled events.

In a March 16 Cedar Park update, the city recommends that people continue Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's recommendations while using parks, such as social distancing, washing hands and staying home if feeling ill.



In Leander, athletic fields at Robin Bledsoe Park and Benbrook Ranch Park are closed.

In Cedar Park, the Milburn Park swimming pool is closed.
