In the news: Harmony Science Academy-Cedar Park
Harmony Science Academy-Cedar Park was one of six Harmony Public Schools campuses named as 2021 "State Schools of Character," according to a Jan. 25 release from the Texas school system. The designation is from the nonprofit Character.org and names schools "for their outstanding efforts in promoting cultures of character in their schools and communities," according to the release. Fifteen Texas schools also received the designation of 71 total schools and one district. www.harmonytx.org
Closings: Eileen's Colossal Cookies
Eileen’s Colossal Cookies will close its Cedar Park location in February, according to its Facebook page. The business will continue as normal through Feb. 13 and will close when it sells out or on Feb. 27. It opened in March 2013 and is located at 401 W. Whitestone Blvd., Ste. C800, Cedar Park.
