The city of Cedar Park will host a public meeting to receive input from the community regarding the mobility master plan on Oct. 19 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Cedar Park Recreation Center, 1435 Main St., in a come-and-go format.

In March, council authorized the mobility master plan, which aims to improve the overall transportation system in Cedar Park. It is a long-range plan intended to create a safer and more efficient transportation network, improving the quality of life for residents.

The new plan will update three of Cedar Park’s existing mobility plans: the 2010 trails master plan, the 2014 comprehensive plan and the 2015 transportation master plan, according to city officials. It will also include transportation projects from the voter-approved 2022 bond package.

Transportation goals, future policies and needed infrastructure projects will be determined and then incorporated into an implementation plan.

City officials and staff are seeking the community’s feedback and input for plan recommendations.

From Oct. 12-Nov. 4, the city will be conducting a survey. Residents will be able to visit www.cedarparktexas.gov/mobility to access the survey.
