Located at 1510 Alexis Drive, Phase 1 of Lakeline Park opened at the end of March. It includes a 3,000-square-foot multipurpose pavilion, a universally designed playground, a kayak and canoe launch and rental, a fishing pier, and other park amenities.
The concert’s headliner will feature a performance by indie rock legends Dinosaur Jr, and they will be joined by rock band Soul Asylum with an intimate acoustic performance as well as Austin punk rock band A Giant Dog.
Food trucks, a beer garden, multiple bars and more will also be featured at the event, according to the April 12 press release.
Festivities will take place at Lakeline Park’s performing arts pavilion and lawn, which overlooks the lake. Doors will open at 2 p.m., and the concert will start at 4:30 p.m. and run until 8:30 p.m.
