On Oct. 12, Leander leaders and Queen of Hearts CPR will co-host a blood drive from noon-6 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Leander.

Donations will be helping the American Red Cross. The process will take roughly 30-45 minutes, and a single donation could help up to three people, according to an event representative.

Blood donors are able to receive small health checkups, and they will be given free snacks and drinks.

There is no participation cost associated with this event.
