This presentation of William Shakespeare's “A Midsummer Night's Dream” is a comedy set in contemporary Athens. It consists of several subplots that revolve around the marriage of Theseus and Hippolyta. One subplot involves a conflict between four Athenian lovers. Another follows a group of six amateur actors rehearsing the play which they are to perform before the wedding. Both groups find themselves in a forest inhabited by fairies that manipulate the humans and are engaged in their own domestic intrigue. The Super Family Fund Run is held outdoors and virtually. The sixth annual event raises money to build after-school programs for kids of all abilities. There are three events this year: a chip-timed 5K, a workout challenge with Camp Gladiator which is an untimed 5K with five activity challenges set up along the way, and a 1-mile fun run. There are also virtual 5K and 1-mile options. Proceeds benefit Brady’s Bridge, an afterschool care program that looks to bridge the gap in childcare for kids of varying disabilities by providing building a facility for kids of all abilities, including those with special needs. 8-11 a.m. $30-$35.
