Pape, a certified public accountant, has 21 years of experience in school finances, according to an LISD release. He most recently worked as the Mesquite ISD assistant superintendent for finance and operations.

“My personal goals are to meet every [LISD] employee, be involved in the community, be transparent and ensure decisions are student-centered and data-informed,” Pape said in the release.

Former LISD CFO of three years Elaine Cogburn was hired as Dripping Springs ISD’s deputy superintendent for finance and operations.
