Leander ISD comprises 27 elementary schools, nine middle schools, six high schools and two alternative schools.

Danielson Middle School is LISD's newest campus, having just opened for the 2020-21 school year. The new middle school receives students from Bagdad, Larkspur, Plains and Pleasant Hill elementary schools, and Danielson graduates will attend Glenn High School.
