Vandegrift High School's class of 2020 picked up their caps and gowns during a socially distant drive-thru at VHS on May 29.

The Vipers' cap-and-gown pickup was the sixth and final LISD high school to do so.

By June 18, LISD plans to decide on the nature of commencement ceremonies. Officials are researching a normal commencement, a limited commencement with social distancing and a virtual graduation with only the graduate's family in attendance.

Here is the current schedule for 2020 commencements at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park:


July 9 (originally May 28)

Cedar Park High School: 9 a.m.-noon

Vandegrift High School: 1-4 p.m.

July 10 (originally May 30)

Leander High School: 9 a.m.-noon

Rouse High School: 1-4 p.m.

July 11 (originally May 30)

Vista Ridge High School: 9 a.m.-noon

Glenn High School: 1-4 p.m.
