The Cedar Park location will carry the restaurant's regular menu, which features a variety of brisket, chicken, sausage and pork sandwiches.
The restaurant will be at 905 E. Whitestone Blvd., Ste. A, Cedar Park, replace the now-closed Pieology Pizzeria. Slab BBQ & Beer has two other locations at the Y at Oak Hill in South Austin and on Research Boulevard in North Austin.
Co-owner Raf Robinson told Community Impact Newspaper that the restaurant is targeting early October for an official opening date.
"We are very excited for our location in the heart of Cedar Park as well at The Crossover sports complex," Robinson said in an email. "We are very community-focused and look forward to being a part of the Cedar Park community."
