A two-building medical office development is under construction in Leander.
The Hero Way Medical Office development had a groundbreaking event Sept. 30. The project is at the southwest corner of Hero Way and Mel Matthis Boulevard.
The first building will house a 20,000-square-foot Austin Gastroenterology clinic and surgical center, said Jarrod Cady, development manager at b3 Commercial. This is expected to open in October 2022.
The second building will be a two-story, 27,000-square-foot medical office building, which is expected to open in late 2022, Cady said. No tenants are confirmed for this second phase building yet.
