Cedar Park and Leander continue their rapid population growth with a 58.56% increase and 123.22% increase since 2010, respectively, according to 2020 U.S. census data.

To further show growth, Leander's population has grown more than seven times—or more than 679%—since 2000. Cedar Park has grown almost 200% in 20 years.

Population data from the census is used for redistricting, which is done every 10 years alongside each decennial census. Congressional, state House, state Senate and state board of education districts will be redrawn by Texas legislators.

Current and draft districts can be viewed online. Based on draft maps, many Cedar Park and Leander residents can expect changes from their existing districts.
