Cedar Park’s new, elevated entertainment destination Spare Birdie Public House is slated to hold a soft opening on Feb.1, and its grand opening will be on Feb. 20.

Spare Birdie Public House is a 23,000-square-foot facility that offers virtual bowling and golf, and a full-service restaurant and bar that features craft cocktails, beer and wine. The entertainment portion includes immersive-reality golf bays, billiard tables, string pin bowling, indoor putting green yard games and a stage for music performances, according to the Jan. 26 press release.

Restaurant menu items include crab cakes, blackened shrimp pasta, spicy lamb meatballs, Norwegian salmon, grilled oysters, pork belly lettuce wraps and other offerings. Executive Chef Justin Manzi and Executive Chef Eduardo Nava lead the chef team at Spare Birdie and oversee the company’s culinary program.

Spare Birdie Public House was founded by brothers and hospitality professionals, Taylor and Aaron Holmes, who also own and operate Goodfolks in Georgetown.

“We are so thrilled to bring such immersive, elevated entertainment to the Austin area with Spare Birdie Public House,” General Manager Greg Goodwin said in the release. “There are so many facets of the space to enjoy, from the culinary program to the games and bar program, we have something for everyone.”

Spare Birdie is located at 1400 Discovery Blvd., Cedar Park. www.sparebirdie.com
