Leander residents Key Palmer and his wife, Renee, bought Coyote Moon Coffee in 2016. They usually set up coffee stands with pastries at nearby office parks or weekend farmers markets.

Following office closures, the coffee company has ramped up its doorstep home delivery and online orders for coffee bags and pods. Delivery, always available in Georgetown, has now expanded to Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Pflugerville and Round Rock.

Coyote Moon Coffee is different because it is not bitter, Key Palmer said. The company roasts its own beans in Georgetown where nine bean varieties are imported to create 13 roasts.

Their close-kept secret to their non-bitter coffee is how the coffee is stored, he said.

“We love our coffee beans, and we pamper them,” Palmer said.

Palmer hopes to continue home delivery and dreams of starting a neighborhood delivery system like how a milkman used to deliver door-to-door.

In April, the company introduced Coyote Moonshine cold brew, which is sold in large glass jars and gallon jugs.

For the Palmers, their faith-based business is not only about selling coffee; it is also about the people they meet.

“We tell people, ‘We want to bless you one cup at a time,” Key Palmer said.

Coffee orders can be placed online or by email. Coffee is also sold at the Old Town Leander Farmers Market on Saturdays, Palmer said.
