Leander Mayor Troy Hill will deliver his annual State of the City address Jan. 28 at the Leander Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon.

The sold-out event begins at 11:30 a.m. at Hill Country Bible Church, 11880 Hero Way, Leander.

Hill, who was elected in June 2018 after serving on the council, will speak after lunch. The event is scheduled to end by 1 p.m.

In 2020, Leander plans to rewrite its comprehensive plan—which aims to guide future development in the city—and continue planning for Northline, a planned $800 million, 115-acre development and located in Leander’s transit-oriented-development. The project is south of San Gabriel Parkway between US 183 and Toll 183A.
