The Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce will host Coffee with the Council, an informal discussion with three members of the Cedar Park City Council, at 8 a.m. Jan. 16 at the chamber office at 1460 E. Whitestone Blvd, Ste. 180, Cedar Park.

No action will be taken at the meeting, according to a notice posted on the city's website, www.cedarparktexas.gov. According to the chamber website, www.cedarparkchamber.org, the event will be "an open forum where business leaders can discuss business concerns in Cedar Park" with council members. Those scheduled to attend are Mayor Corbin Van Arsdale, Mayor Pro Tem Mel Kirkland and Council Member Tim Kelly.

The event is scheduled to conclude at 9:30 a.m., according to the chamber website.
