AJ’s Bar and Grill in Leander closes

AJ’s Bar and Grill in Old Town Leander has closed, according to the owner.

Contacted through Facebook, owner Andrea Jobes said AJ's was "closed for the time being due to unforeseen circumstances."



The restaurant’s phone number, website and Facebook page were not functioning Jan. 7.

The restaurant, which served craft dishes for lunch and dinner and brunch on Sundays, opened in Old Town at 105 W. Willis St. on Sept. 17. It opened without having a liquor license, and it is unknown whether the business achieved the license before it closed.
