Trustees have been meeting on the first and third Thursdays of each month, holding a workshop meeting during the first Thursday and an action meeting during the third Thursday.
Under the proposed calendar, trustees will meet on the third and fourth Thursdays of each month. The first meeting has been designated an “agenda review meeting” and the second is called a “regular board meeting.”
Certain months will require the meetings to move. For instance, to accommodate LISD’s spring break March 16-20, March’s meetings will be held on the second (March 12) and fourth Thursdays (March 26). Due to May 28-30 graduations, May’s meetings will move to the 14th and 21st, according to the calendar.
Also on the proposed 2020 calendar are three Thursdays—Jan. 30 and Feb. 6 and 13—slotted for possible joint meetings with city governments.
The Nov. 7 meeting is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. at the Support Services Complex, 1900 Cougar Country Drive, Cedar Park.
