Year-over-year home sales, median home prices and the average number of days homes spent on the market were mixed across Cedar Park-far Northwest Austin in October, according to data from the Austin Board of Realtors.

Both Cedar Park ZIP codes, 78613 and 78726, had fewer sales this October than last October. Far Northwest Austin ZIP code 78729 also had fewer sales.

However, one more home was sold this October compared to last October in far Northwest Austin ZIP codes 78717 and 78750.

Median home prices were also mixed across the market. Of the five ZIP codes, median prices only increased in 78726 and 78750, with prices in 78750 rising the most from just under $630,000 last October to over $712,000 this October.

Median prices dipped the most in 78717 by $111,000.

Most homes in the market—47—were sold between the $300,000 and $499,999 price range in October. There were also:

• 15 homes sold for $900,000 or more.
• 14 homes sold between $700,000 and $899,999.
• 37 homes sold between $500,000 and $699,999.
• 3 homes sold for $299,999 or less.

Homes in 78613, 78729 and 78750 spent fewer days on average on the market this October compared to last October. Homes in 78717 and 78726 spent longer on the market than last year, but only for an average of two days longer and one day longer, respectively.
