From tarot card readings and musicals to firework displays and a comic on, Cedar Park community members with all types of interests can find an event to connect with the community this summer. This list is not comprehensive. Event details are subject to change.

Psychic Medium Night Galaxy Reflection

Community members can enjoy a night of feeding their creative side with the instructor-led painting course where attendees will learn how to paint a galaxy. Psychic Chakra Center will be doing palm and tarot card readings throughout the event.


Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The student production portrays a musical retelling of the biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors as well as the adventures he finds himself on through his vivid dreams which foretell the future.

Go Skateboarding Day


The city-run skateboarding day event will feature competitions with prizes, music and concessions.

The Diaspora Food Market

Community members can celebrate Juneteenth by tasting a variety of dishes such as jerk spiced ribs, Caribbean house wings, jerk chicken with chef-made fried rice, Cuban sandwiches and more. In addition to food, attendees can look forward to face painting, vendors and entertainment.

Collaboration Barbecue Dinner and Book Launch

Barbecue lovers can indulge in a dinner crafted by Chef Hugh Mangum and John Bates with dishes such as Smoked Oxtail Mole, Texano Sausage and more. Mangum will release his book which shares 280 barbecue and grilling recipes cultures across the globe.

Summer Solstice Celebration

Attendees can celebrate the evening with gentle yoga, music featuring hao gongs, didgeridoo, ocean drums, Native American flute and rattles and sun catcher crafts.

Music Concert with Lucas Miller the Singing Zoologist

Miller will combine entertaining tunes with animal facts for children ages 5-10 accompanied by an adult guardian. Space for the event is limited and is conducted on a first come, first served basis.

Everyday Alchemy: Herbal Skincare & Oral Care

The hands-on class will teach attendees how to create a personalized skin cleansing oil, a botanical face or body scrub, facial cleansing powder and natural toothpaste.

Cedar Park Spectacular

Community members can attend the annual celebration featuring live music, carnival rides, inflatables, food vendors, a fireworks display and a movie in the park.

SuperHeroes Run

Families and individuals alike can stay fit by participating in a 5k, 10k, half marathon or family one-mile fun run. Event registration includes a running T-shirt, a finisher’s towel or giveaway, a finisher’s medal, a digital training pack and more.

Greater Austin Comic Con

Adults and kids alike can enjoy this two-day event with pop culture vendors, gaming competitions, cosplay contacts and a superhero-themed car show. Attendees can meet special guests including move and TV stars, sports stars, cosplay artists and game developers.
