From a library convention to a Latin food festival, the Cedar Park community can make plans to attend a variety of events in the coming months. This list is not comprehensive. Event details are subject to change.

Earth Mama Craft Night

The hands-on workshop will teach participants how to create elegant paper gift boxes, blend herbal teas into individually-sized bags, mix a natural surface disinfectant with essential oils and put together a bath tub tea bag.

Texas Autism Walk

Community members can take part in the 17th annual one-mile walk hosted by the Autism Society of Texas. In addition to the walk, attendees can check out a resource fair, family friendly activities and enjoy music.

World Healing Day: Yoga & Sound Bathing Event

Led by De’Aires Cotton, a certified yoga instructor and mental health advocate, attendees can release stress through a yoga session followed by a soothing sound bath experience. La Dosis Coffee + Cocktails will be offering a 10% discount on purchases for those with an event ticket.

Mini-Con

The local library will host its annual event with robots, cosplay, drones, board games and vendors including Titan Moon Comics, Kewl-N-Kawaii Toys and more. Community members can participate in a robot petting zoo, try out superhero archery or an escape room and join a cosplay contest.


Racing Minds Earth Day 5k, 1 Mile and Kids 1k

Nonprofit organization Racing Minds ATX will host three races: Chip-timed 5k and 1 mile and an untimed kids 1k. All participants in all distances will receive a medal and there will also be age group awards. A portion of race fees will go to the Parks and Trails Foundation of Cedar Park.

Earth Day Celebration

Park & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park’s second annual event will feature Soul Rhythm Experience Drum Circle, a market with local vendors highlighting sustainable, natural and nature-related products, family-friendly activities, food vendors, door prizes and educational booths.

Water Safety Event

Waterloo Swimming will host the event at all three locations and showcase a parent safety presentation, a swimmer safety in water demonstration, open swim at the business’ pools, vendors and giveaways.

Mother’s Day Flyer

Community members can embark on a six and a half round trip journey through the South San Gabriel River and Short Creek Canyon with a layover in Burnet. Attendees can enjoy their own lunch, shopping and visit Burnet’s town square.

Disney on Ice: Let’s Dance!

Attendees can look forward to a show with Elsa, Anna, DJ Stitch, Olaf, Aerial, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa and more familiar Disney faces. Costumes are not allowed for ages 14 and older.

Live at Lakeline Concert Series

Cedar Park Parks and Recreation will host a free concert series featuring local musicians including Madam Radar, Zoodust, Sarah Hobbs and Queen Legacy. Attendees can look forward to lawn games, food trucks and beer and wine and are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs.


Sazon Latin Food Festival

The Cedar Park community can taste its way through Latin cuisine with food vendors representing flavors from the Caribbean, South America and Central America. Space for the event is limited and interested individuals are encouraged to secure a general admission spot or arrive early.

Junior Police Academy

Registration for the week-long summer camp for children ages 11-13 begins on May 5. Cedar Park residents can register their children to participate in an obstacle course, group activities, repelling, fingerprinting, crime prevention and more.
