A wide variety of events are scheduled to take place this summer in the Cedar Park, Leander and Liberty Hill areas.

Residents can look forward to concerts, a rodeo, several library events and water activities from mid-July through mid-August.

Family Fun Swim Night

Cedar Park’s Parks and Recreation Department will host an event where families can create fun memories this summer. The event will feature games, music, and hotdogs and chips. Food will be available while supplies last.North of Luck concert

A group of Austin area musicians will put on a live concert. The group, called North of Luck, has performed with Stevie Ray Vaughan, Fountains of Wayne and American Hi-Fi. Event attendees will have access to a full bar and food trucks.

Musical Concert with Strawbitty Yops


Parents will have the opportunity to bring their children to see an interactive Strawbitty Yops performance. The show will feature a combination of audience participation, live looping, beat boxing, body percussion, puppets and movement activities. The event is for ages 2-8 and space will be limited.Wild Things Zoofari

The Leander Public Library will host an exotic animal show featuring a live look at animals such as kinkajous and lemurs. Event participants will have the opportunity to see these animals up close while also learning about them and the importance of conserving their natural habitats. While the event is free, tickets will be required for entry.Stranger Things party

Teens in grades 6-12 can attend an nostalgic '80s Stranger Things-themed party. The event will feature themed activities, trivia and a journey into the Upside Down. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes.Gaming for Grown-Ups

At this event, participants will be able to connect with other adults through broad game. Event attendees can learn new games or bring games to teach and share with others. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to attend. This event is for ages 18 and up.Back to School Bash


The city of Liberty Hill will host this annual event to close out the summer season. During the event, which is open to all ages, the park’s splash pad will be open to attendees. It will also include summer-themed tunes, contests, games, treats and giveaways.Cedar Park Rodeo

The two-night show will feature a series of professional rodeo events, including bull riding, bareback riding, calf roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, mutton busting and other competitions.Back to Reggaeton US Tour

Puerto Rican rapper and singer Don Omar will be bringing his tour to Cedar Park. Referred to as the “King of Reggaeton,” Don Omar is known for his songs “Dile” and “Dale Don Dale” from his debut album The Last Don.“The Lost in Love Experience”

Australian pop/rock duo Air Supply will be perform in Cedar Park. The duo, made up of Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock, formed in 1975 in Sydney, Australia. Air Supply is known for their late '70s and early '80s hits “Lost in Love,” "All Out of Love” and “Every Woman in the World.”
