Diving in deeper

Senate District 25 covers all of Blanco, Comal and Kendall counties as well as parts of Bexar, Guadalupe, Hays and Travis counties. Campbell has represented the district since 2013.

With experience as an emergency room physician, Campbell said in Community Impact Q&A some of her high priority areas are proposing legislation to improve both grid resilience, and health care for patients and medical providers.

Fox, a retired school principal, also mentioned health care, speaking to the importance of a woman’s right to bodily autonomy as well as issues around water consumption, responsible development, increasing public school funding, and protecting children and communities from gun violence.
