Voters throughout Texas, including those in Cedar Park and far Northwest Austin, will head to the polls March 5 to vote in either the Republican or Democratic primaries.

Here's a quick guide to voting in the March 5 elections.

1. When to vote

Early voting runs from Feb. 20-March 1 statewide. However, the specific early voting schedule varies by county.

Travis County
  • Feb. 20-24: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Feb. 25: noon-6 p.m.
  • Feb. 26-28: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Feb. 29-March 1, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. (Extended hours at some early voting polling locations are until 10 p.m.)
Williamson County
  • Feb. 20-23: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Feb. 24: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Feb. 25: noon-6 p.m.
  • Feb. 26-March 1: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Election day is March 5. Voting hours are 7 a.m.-7 p.m. statewide.


2. Where to vote

Voters in both Travis County and Williamson County can cast a ballot at any polling location in the county in which they are registered to vote. The following noncomprehensive list includes polling locations throughout far Northwest Austin, Cedar Park, Leander and Liberty Hill.
