In a nutshell

Leander ISD launched a new webpage detailing the status of around 60 projects funded by the district’s 2023 bond and past bond packages. The webpage features information on each project, including its scope, status and details, including phase, estimated timeline, funding source, estimated project budget and contractors.

Notable projects include:
  • Elementary School Nos. 30, 31 and 32
  • Middle School No. 10
  • High School No. 7
  • Campus modernizations

In case you missed it

The district acquired land for Elementary School No. 31 on Nov. 3, according to the website. The $71 million school is proposed to be located in Leander at CR 175 and FM 2243. The new campus is one of four elementary schools LISD plans to open over the next 10 years to relieve growth in the northern part of the district.

The zoning and construction process is currently underway for Elementary School No. 30, which will open in August. The proposed zoning scenario shows Elementary School No. 31 opening with Elementary School No. 33 in 2028.

Elementary School No. 32 is scheduled to open for the 2027-28 school year in the Travisso neighborhood, according to the website.
