As Round Rock ISD officials work to create a five-year strategic plan for 2024-29, district staff are engaging community members to gauge what parents and teachers would like to see prioritized in the plan.

What's happening?

Results from a community engagement survey, focus group and summit of district parents, staff, teachers, principals and other RRISD community members shared Dec. 4 key areas of concern and interest. These include but are not limited to what community members believe will shape education in coming years, skills community members would like to see teachers acquire, and how technology should or should not be incorporated into the classroom.

The details

Respondents to the survey shared their thoughts on nine different content areas, all revolving around the district's future in educating students. Additional responses from the district's recent summit and focus group are available in the report.
