Little Twist Bakery
The nonprofit home bakery is celebrating its first year serving the Avery Ranch community. Owner Autumn Chim said she wanted the bakery to be rooted in community, sustainability and celebrating culture. Over the last year, she has donated more than $1,000 to local causes by selling baked goods in Avery Ranch. The bakery specializes in Jewish treats with an Asian twist, Chim said. Menu items include matcha rugelach, ube milk bread babka and pandan rugelach.

Churchrow Tejas BBQ
The restaurant from owner Simon Madera and pitmaster Miguel Vidal showcases barbecue with a Tejano twist, highlighting Madera and Vidal’s heritage. The space’s bar program, led by Caleb Chial of La Holly, includes agave-forward cocktails and draft beers inspired by Tex-Mex barbecue flavors. Diners can find tacos and specialty plates on the menu once barbecue is sold out each day.

Brooklyn Heights Pizzeria
The restaurant was known for its East Coast-style pizza with tomato sauce, basil pesto sauce or a white sauce with olive oil and garlic. The menu also featured chicken wings, paninis, pasta, sandwiches, a variety of appetizers such as garlic knots, bruschetta, meatballs and mozzarella sticks, and desserts such as cannolis and tiramisu. The pizzeria's other location at 3550 N. Lakeline Blvd., Leander, will remain open.
