Black Swan Yoga is expanding to Cedar Park with a new studio space opening Sept. 13, according to a news release. Black Swan Yoga, Austin’s first donation-based studio, first opened in 2009, according to Cedar Park grand opening coordinator Tiffany Asha. The company now has locations in Texas, Arizona and Colorado.

How it works

Black Swan Yoga has a variety of memberships and a drop-in class option with a suggested donation of $15 per class. Class types include power flow, beginner flow, meditation and more.

Its mission “is to create an accessible, affordable and community driven yoga experience for all,” according to the company's website.

The specifics

The grand opening will feature a free yoga class, an outdoor market with local vendors, prizes and giveaways. The outdoor market will begin at 9:30 a.m. and celebrations are expected to continue throughout the day, according to the schedule.

The studio space is a 1,500 square foot facility with a mural from Austin-based artist, Jiminai, to pay homage to the Cedar Park coyotes, according to Asha.
