Cedar Park’s latest recreational destination X-Golf opened Aug. 6.

The gist

X-Golf offers seven virtual indoor golf simulators, allowing patrons to learn the game, practice their swings and engage in friendly competitions. The simulators use cameras, infrared lasers, impact sensors and advanced gaming software to create accuracy and realism, according to the company’s website.

The company offers lessons, league and tournament play, and has two party rooms for private events. The location also features a bar and restaurant with a selection of pub favorites.

The Cedar Park branch is now the fourth X-Golf location in Texas, following locations in Katy, Rockwell and Frisco.
