NFM will sponsor the foundation's Earth Day celebration at Lakeline Park on April 27 as part of the partnership, according to a release from the company.

The Parks and Trails Foundation of Cedar Park promotes the preservation, enrichment and accessibility of parks, trails and green spaces, according to its website.
“We consistently look for ways to directly support the places our customers call home,” Josh Ortiz, Cedar Park NFM store director, said in the release. “When we saw the incredible work the Parks and Trails Foundation of Cedar Park does for the community, we knew this was an organization we wanted to partner with.”
The Earth Day celebration will include family-friendly activities, educational exhibits and more, according to the release.

The parks and trails foundation was founded in 2024, according to the release. It collaborates with local government, businesses and citizens to foster community, environmental stewardship and more.
Though the foundation was already operating, NFM joined within its first year.
“Up to that point, they were in the early stages of determining how best they could impact the community,” said Andy Shefsky, community and public relations manager for NFM. “We’ve become the first company to serve as a sponsor and support their initiatives, thus being named a Founding Partner.”
What else?
As of March 12, NFM was in the early stages of the construction process on their store coming to Cedar Park, Shefsky said. The store is expected to open in 2027, and it will be a major retailer in the area.
