Lake Travis Zipline Adventures will soon open for spring and summer. The Leander-based adventure company typically closes in the winter months, but is set to reopen March 1 for ziplining tours over Lake Travis.

What they offer

Lake Travis Zipline Adventures offers several packages for individuals and groups. Visitors can take a full three-hour tour of all five ziplines, including the Double Barrel Shotgun line, which, at 2,850 feet, is the longest and fastest zipline in Texas, according to a news release.

The company also offers shorter tours of individual lines and guided hikes around the Lake Travis trail system. Hikes to the ziplines are led by professional adventure guides, who also provide water, transport and all necessary equipment to zipline.

Also of note

This year marks the return of #LTZAgives, a charity initiative started by owner John Shipley in 2024. Lake Travis Zipline Adventures will open up on off days for special events, during which 100% of proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association, according to a news release.
