Collectors Crossroads has been serving the Cedar Park community since Nov. 22, 2019.

Behind the name

Owner Darren Spohn is the founder of Austin-based arcade Pinballz. He said after owning Pinballz for nearly 10 years, he wanted to open an alternative business and noticed there was a large collectors community in the city.

“We call it Collectors Crossroads because it’s basically a crossroad place where all different collectors can come in and buy anything from casual gifts for people all the way up to filling their collections,” Spohn said.

The details

Spohn said the store initially opened with a small portion of memorabilia sold in one-third of the 1,200-square-foot store and has since grown into the full space. The store is separated into various departments such as trading cards, history, militaria and designer products. The business focuses on creating an experience for customers, he said.

“Our whole goal is a collecting experience,” Spohn said. “When you walk in we’re educating people, not just trying to sell to people.”

The business sells memorabilia, collectibles, artwork, antiques and more both in-person and online.
