The Indian fusion restaurant and grocer Desi District is set open its first Austin-area location in Cedar Park in the fall.

The Dallas-based franchise serves a variety of dishes, such as “taco-dosas," and will have a meat market where customers can purchase fresh goat, fish and chicken, Cedar Park franchise owner Anoop Alladi said.

The business has five existing locations in North Texas, with plans to open seven more, including the one in Cedar Park and the first out-of-state locations.
