The Cedar Park Police Department offered a drive-thru trick-or-treat event at the H-E-B Center on Oct. 25, where officers handed out candy to visitors who dressed in costumes for Halloween, in addition to allowing trick-or-treaters the opportunity to get an up-close look at police vehicles.
Hosted by the city of Cedar Park Parks and Recreation Department on Nov. 4, the event at Lakeline Park celebrates all things fall with armadillo races, pumpkin launching, roping stations, hayrides, food and live music.
Deepavali, also known as the diasporic festival of lights, was celebrated Nov. 5 at Cedar Park Public Library. Those attending enjoyed making crafts and eating Indian food while listening to and dancing with musicians and dancers highlighting Indian culture.
The city of Cedar Park hosted a Veterans Day ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park on Nov. 11, where those attending were able to show their honor and gratitude to veterans both locally and nationally.
