Chicken shop chain Chick-fil-A is slated to open a new location off Anderson Mill Road and RM 620 in Austin by early 2025, per a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

While representatives with Chick-fil-A did not confirm details of the project, the TDLR filing states that construction on the $1.2 million, 5,615-square-foot restaurant will begin in September 2024 and be completed by March 2025.

“While we are still early in the process, Chick-fil-A is happy to share that we are actively pursuing a new location in the Northwest Austin area,” Chick-fil-A representatives said in a statement. “We are excited by the prospect of joining this neighborhood, where each locally owned and operated restaurant creates 80 to 120 jobs.”
