Favor, a Texas-based delivery service that was acquired by H-E-B in 2018, reached its 10-year anniversary June 5.

To celebrate, Favor announced a campaign to donate up to 500,000 meals to Feeding Texas, a hunger relief organization.

Through June 30, the on-demand delivery service will donate the equivalent of 10 meals to Feeding Texas for every completed delivery.

“We are thrilled to mark a decade of delivering food from Texas’ favorite restaurants, stores and more across our home state,” Favor CEO Keith Duncan said in a news release. “As we celebrate this major milestone, it is essential for us to give back to the communities that have supported us throughout the past 10 years.”

Favor operates in over 400 cities in Texas and has over 100,000 delivery drivers, or “runners,” as Favor calls them. Since 2019, Favor has contributed to Feeding Texas with a total of over 1.4 million meals.

“We are immensely grateful for Favor’s commitment to fight summer hunger in Texas,” Feeding Texas CEO Celia Cole said in the news release.
