Hop aboard the Austin steam train for romance-fantasy trivia, or visit the library for a special Día de Muertos celebration—there is something to do for everyone in Cedar Park in October and November. This list is not comprehensive and all events are subject to change.

Romantasy Trivia

The Austin Steam Train association will host five rounds of Romantasy Trivia for ticket holders. Attendees are invited to come dressed as their favorite character or in their most enchanting attire for the afternoon. Tickets include a special snack and complimentary tea, coffee and water, with additional beverages available for purchase.Fall Roundup

Community members are invited to gather at Lakeline Park for Western-inspired fun, including armadillo races, hayrides, a petting zoo, country music, mechanical bull riding, crafts and dancing.Trunk or Treat

Heroes Resource Center will host a free Trunk or Treat event for families in the community. Event registration is free for families and non profit organizations and $75 for local businesses and vendors. Prizes will be awarded to the best costume and car. Heroes Resource Center is also looking for sponsors for the event with opportunities ranging from $350-1000.

Día de Muertos


The Cedar Park Public Library invites all residents to celebrate Día de Muertos at the library by making a memory portrait while listening to live music by Mariachi los Gallos and viewing the ofrenda.Dueling Pianos Glow in the Dark Halloween

Music lovers of all ages can gather at the Fieldhouse at the Crossover to enjoy dueling pianos on the main stage. Attendees are encouraged to wear their costumes, listen to some live music and check out the food trucks.Día de los Muertos Loteria

The Austin Steam Train Association will celebrate Día de los Muertos with the community with five rounds of lotería with prizes for each round and the chance to win a $300 gift card towards a future steam train ride. Attendees are encouraged to dress up as each car will host a Calavera outfit contest with prizes.Cedar Park Mom Walk

Moms and their babies are invited to connect at Brushy Creek Sports Park for a monthly walk. The event is for expecting, new and seasoned mothers to enjoy a casual walk and fresh air.Veterans Ceremony


Community members are encouraged to gather at Veterans Memorial Park for a ceremony to pay tribute to veterans. Attendees can expect music, the posting of colors, a keynote speaker, refreshments and a military band.Austin Spurs vs. Birmingham Squadron

Fans are invited to join the Austin Spurs for their home opener of their 20th anniversary season against the Birmingham Squadron. The Spurs will debut a new 20th anniversary logo for the season as the celebration kicks off at the H-E-B Center.Austin Indoor Pickle Festival

Pickle lovers can gather at the Austin Sports Center to celebrate National Pickle Weekend with pickle-flavored treats, vendors, local artisan booths, contests, live demonstrations, music, crafts, axe throwing and more.
