From fundraising events to live music, markets and other family-friendly festivals, here are 11 things to do in the Cedar Park, Leander and Liberty Hill area this April and May.

Bets for Pets

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will host its fourth annual casino night at Nyle Maxwell’s Vehicles Unique. The event includes casino games, hors d’oeuvres, drinks and prizes. The event benefits the regional shelter's medical fund, also known as Jane’s Fund.Live @ Lakeline Concert Series

Cedar Park Parks & Recreation and Bob FM 103.5 will bring a free spring concert series to Lakeline Park. On select Fridays in April to May, attendees can enjoy live music from local bands. Food trucks will be on-site. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.Fourth annual Air Force JROTC Car Show

The Leander High School Air Force JROTC will host its fourth annual car show event in the Leander High School parking lot. The event will have an array of cars for guests to look at as well as live music by Alex Hensley & The Heathens. There will also be vendors and a silent auction at the family-friendly event. All of the proceeds from the event will go to the Air Force cadets program.Always Fun Markets


The market—located in the parking lot between Pluckers and PetSmart—will celebrate International Guitar Month. It will include a guitar sale, live music, and food and craft vendors.Healthy Kids Day at Twin Lakes Family YMCA

The event will feature carnival rides, inflatable bounce houses, food and drinks, and games. This year, the event includes a free 1K family fun run.SpringFest 2024

St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church is bringing back its spring festival this year. The event will feature a variety of food booths, a petting zoo, games, bingo, inflatables, a train ride and other family-friendly activities.

Bates Mission Carnival

The inaugural event at Honda Leander will feature a car show, midway games, a petting zoo, train rides, face painting, balloon animals and ax throwing. Food trucks will be on-site. Proceeds from the event will benefit Bates Mission, a nonprofit organization supporting former foster youth.

Full House of Hearts


Jeremiah Program Austin is hosting a casino-themed event to raise money for their mission of disrupting the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children. The event will be hosted at ParqSocial at Facilities Resource Inc., and will include food and drinks.Disney On Ice presents Magic In The Stars

The family-friendly performances will bring an assortment of Disney characters to the rink where they perform high-flying acrobatics, stunts and figure skating, all accompanied by innovative lighting and special effects. Paid parking is available on-site.

Fun Run/Walk

The Texas District Nurses Association District 5 will host a 4K fun run/walk at Lakeline Park. Proceeds from the event will go to nursing scholarships for nursing students. The family-friendly event is open to all ages.Whimsy and Wonder

Liberty Hill’s interactive art and music festival will return in 2024 to downtown Main Street. The event features live music, live art demonstrations, artisan vendors, street performers, food trucks and more.
