Life in western Travis County is about to get a little bit sweeter. Houston-based Shipley Do-Nuts will open at 3620 S. RR 620, Ste. 100, Bee Cave, on Nov. 1, said Phil Adkins, the company’s area developer for Central and North Texas. The planned site in a strip center at the front of Home Depot previously housed a Radio Shack shop. Shipley Donuts is slated for 3620 S. RR 620, Ste. 100, Bee Cave.   • about 38 varieties of doughnuts—including the company’s signature hot glazed doughnuts as well as fruit, creme-filled and iced doughnut varieties;
  • an expanded line of fresh-baked kolaches with filling options, such as Earl Campbell-brand sausage, ham, egg, cheese and jalapenos;
  • pastry options including cinnamon rolls and bear claws; and
  • a full line of coffee and espresso drinks.
“[Cokins and Folloder] have wanted to be Shipley Do-Nuts franchisees for years,” Adkins said. “This is their very first Shipley [Do-Nuts] store.” Shipley Do-Nuts has 11 stores in Travis and Williamson counties, and about 10 more stores are planned for the area, he said.
